Hunt for the Wild Dalas Official Guide launching page
Lindsborg's Wild Dala herd has grown larger than paper maps can contain! While there are the paper Hunt for the Wild Dala flyers available in the Travel Information Center (114 N. Main Street) and the CVB office (104 E. Lincoln Street), not every Dala is present in this flyer. To see all of the Dalas, their descriptions, and locations, click on this link: Hunt for the Wild Dalas Official Guide.
The Herd of Wild Dala Horses, one of the8 Wonders of Kansas Customs, roams freely throughout Lindsborg. The traditional Dala shape provides the base for the creatively painted Wild Dala horses, celebrating contemporary Lindsborg – its history, Swedish-Americana, the arts, everyday work and life, local groups and families and, of course, wordplay. The Wild Dalas of Lindsborg Official Guide will help you to locate the herd both indoors and out.
Beginning November 26, 2022, Visit Lindsborg has a new Wild Dala activity for you to enjoy!
Join the fun in Lindsborg and search for glass Dala horses! Each one is unique and numbered. Will you find one?
All will be hidden outdoors, on public property--no need for digging or destroying to find. What a great way to work off those Thanksgiving calories! Watch for many more to be hidden in the coming months, and there is only ONE unicorn Dala to be found.
The search begins on November 26. When you find one, be sure to snap a selfie and let the CVB know!#WildDalaSearch can be used for social media tags or call us at 888-227-2227 to share with us your find! And...finders keepers. Dalas are yours to take home and enjoy.
