Lindsborg Holiday Open House: Date to be determined--The Lindsborg Merchants invite you to kick off the holiday season! Businesses and galleries will be decked out in full holiday style!
Small Business Saturday: November 28--Lindsborg encourages you to "Shop Small" for Small Business Saturday and all year long! Holiday photo ops will be available on the red brick streets of Lindsborg.
Snowflake Parade: December 5--"C'mon, get flaky!" It's the annual wacky winter event where you can join in the fun and be a part of the parade or watch from the sidelines. The sillier the better! Line up for the parade begins at 10:30am in Bethany Lutheran Church parking lot (320 N Main Street). Parade begins at 11:00am. The fun will continue throughout the day with Santa roaming and merchant take-n-make ornaments. This Saturday is also the Christmas Artists' Studio Open House!
Christmas Artists' Studio Open House: December 5--Every year, on the first Saturday of December, Lindsborg area artists open their studios to visitors, offering them a glimpse into their creative processes and works. This year, visitors can explore galleries and workspaces in the Lindsborg area, 10:00am-5:00pm, immersing themselves in art, music, and engaging conversations. Saint Lucia Festival: December 12--A favorite and beautiful Swedish holiday tradition featuring the Lindsborg Swedish Folk Dancers. Saint Lucia is celebrated in Lindsborg on the second Saturday of December. The celebration includes a Swedish bake sale, Swedish dancing, and Saint Lucia Services held in the historic Bethany Lutheran Church. A printable schedule is found by clicking here.
Heritage Christmas: December 12--Held at Lindsborg Old Mill & Swedish Heritage Museum the evening of the same day as Saint Lucia Festival, Heritage Christmas is a step back in time full of Swedish traditions with live music, Santa Claus, A Shepherd's Story, cookie decorating, the Mayor's Christmas Kaffe, and children's crafts. Freeze Your Brass Off: December December 19--An interactive concert experience featuring local brass players and you! Bring an instrument and play along or snuggle up and enjoy the holiday music. Held in St. Lucia pocket park (just south of City Hall), the event begins at 3:30pm.
Cookies with Mrs. Claus: December 19--Stop by First Bank Kansas between 12:00-2:00pm to share your Christmas wishes with Mrs. Claus! Cookies, frosting, and decorations for the kids to enjoy will be available in the lobby.
Julotta: December 25--Join in a special Swedish service the dawn of Christmas morning.
Annandag Jul: December 26--Annandag Jul means literally "another day of Christmas" an official part of the Christmas holiday in Sweden. Annandag Jul marks the middle days between the beginning of the Christmas Season and New Years.
